Almost August.
I know I'm not suppose to be worring about where I will be interning, but it's crunch time around here and I hope to find out shortly. If I don't hear from NPR this week they won't be hiring me for the fall. I knew NPR was a long shot just because of the volumn of appications they get. Though I really do think for positions I applied for I am very qualified. But that's a part of the game sometimes. I think I've got two in's with other firms, I'd just wish i could hear from them soon.

Things to do Before I Leave.
1. Buy new backpack. I'm not an over the shoulder type guy. My Current Northface, the same back I had to start 8th grade is worn out, it's made it 7 years. So I'm impressed and going to buy another.
2. Buy a sleeve for my laptop. The Macbook needs to stay protected during travel.
3. I need professional looking clothes. Though my internship might not require more than just jeans, I need to look good when we adventure.
4. Figure out when we are leaving. My dad is taking me down, we are stopping over in Pittsburgh, to see family, baseball and it happens to be right between Haslett and Washington.
5. Most important figure out what I am bringing with me. I have no idea.

Let's Start In Michigan
I'm Greg and those who are reading this probably know that. I'm 20, I'll be 21 in a few weeks. That's all you need to know so far.
Last Fall, I needed something new. Michigan State University I love. I can't get by without it. But I've lived in Haslett my whole life, my house in Haslett is about six miles from campus. So I've grown as a Spartan and with East Lansing as my hang out since I could drive. But I wanted a change, I met with my advisor to look for some kind of option where i could earn more than 12 credits but leave East Lansing. I found it in the Washington, DC semester program. From August 30th until December 5th I will be living at the Virginian Suites in Arlington, Virginia. My first experience living without someone cooking most of my meals for me. I feel like i'm getting ahead of myself. But I don't really want to waste your time on the details of what I'll be doing. Because That's not the point of all this. The blog is going to share my experiences living in our nation's capitol, working, taking class and having a good time. Adventures will be taken, places will be seen and I want you to seem them too. And for those who like to read you can read about it too. I'll be posting my general mushing about anything else I want. I'm going to try to podcast as well, that will come later though or when I get bored.
